Cubana Chief Priest Appears in Court for Alleged Naira Abuse

Instagram sensation Pascal Okechukwu, also recognized as Cubana Chief Priest, has been brought before the Federal High Court in Lagos on allegations of naira abuse.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) presented the socialite before Justice Kehinde Ogundare.

Accused of misusing the naira at a social gathering, Cubana Chief Priest faces a three-count charge by the anti-graft commission, purportedly violating the Central Bank Act of 2007.

He entered a plea of not guilty, and the court granted him bail for ₦10m.

This development follows closely on the heels of the EFCC arraigning controversial figure Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, on similar charges, leading to his sentencing to a six-month jail term.
