Donald Trump has told a rally in Ohio he would cure AIDS and childhood cancer “very soon”.
The US President, who is campaigning for re-election in 2020, spoke for nearly 90 minutes at a Cincinnati rally on Thursday night.
He blamed the “far-left’s destructive agenda” for poverty and crime in American inner cities and reaffirmed his promise to cure AIDS and childhood cancers.
“We will achieve new breakthroughs in science and medicine,” Mr Trump said to cheers and applause from the crowd.
