FURYOUS Tyson Fury destroys Tom Schwarz in second-round KO to avoid Anthony Joshua-style upset

TYSON FURY eased past a vastly under-matched Tom Schwarz on his Las Vegas debut – destroying the German in two rounds.

Fury, 30, played to the American crowd from the off making an eccentric Apollo Creed-esque ring walk – wearing a USA robe, shorts and top hat.

He was warned not to take the fight lightly, having seen Anthony Joshua stunned by Andy Ruiz Jr a fortnight earlier – but it took just a round and a half for the Brit to complete the first bout of his £80million Top Rank deal.

Afterwards Fury informed his new US fan base he will return for another tune up fight in New York by the end of summer as he prepares to rematch Deontay Wilder next year.

Fury said: “I came here to have fun, enjoy it, put on a show for Las Vegas. I hope that everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.

“We’re going to have another fight in New York and then we’re going to hunt down Deontay Wilder!”

The Gypsy King wasted little time getting to work in Sin City as he rammed his speedy jab into the face of Schwarz.

Fainting and fidgeting, the Brit peppered Schwarz with jabs and and the occasional left-hook as the German plodded forward looking completely out of his depth……read more
