Kevin Durant takes to Instagram to celebrate Golden State Warriors series win

Injured Golden State star Kevin Durant took to social media to congratulate his team-mates following the Warriors’ 4-2 series win over the Houston Rockets.

Durant was ruled out of the series after picking up a calf injury in the third quarter of the Warriors’ 104-99 Game 5 win on Thursday night.

He was unable to join the Warriors in Toyota Center for the crucial Game 6, but watched the game before posting his congratulatory message on Instagram after the Warriors’ victory.

Without the leading scorer Durant, the Warriors relied on backcourt stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
